Akpabio and Felix Morka are defending President Bola Tinubu’s economic record, arguing that the President inherited an economy in serious trouble and that Nigeria is now moving in the right direction.

Senate President Godswill Akpabio said Tinubu inherited an economy in shambles, while APC National Publicity Secretary Felix Morka argued that Tinubu has outperformed previous democratically elected presidents and that the economy has “come out of the woods” at the macroeconomic level.

Morka has also defended the removal of fuel subsidy, saying the policy strengthened government revenues and helped prevent Nigeria from becoming economically bankrupt.
