ADC warns INEC on engaging partisan lecturers as Electoral Officers

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has warned the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) against appointing or engaging lecturers with alleged partisan affiliations as Electoral Officers for the 2027 elections.

The party says the credibility of election officials is critical to ensuring a free, fair and transparent electoral process, raising concerns over the possible influence of political affiliations on the conduct of elections.

As INEC prepares for the 2027 polls, the ADC is calling for greater scrutiny in the selection of Electoral Officers and other officials who will play key roles in the election process.
